Directions For Use

General Application Rates: Normal application rate in between 100-200g per square metre.

Rates will vary due to soil types and environmental conditions.  Soil tests & pH levels should be checked prior to application to obtain the greatest benefit and the watering in well of fertiliser is essential.

Roses, Flowers & Vegetables:

Consider an application of lime as a pre-plant.

Before planting spread 200g per square metre 1-2 weeks before planting.  Work into top 5-10cm of soil & water in well.

Established spread 100g per square metre.  Appy once every 4-6 weeks.  For annual flowers apply at early bud formation.

Bulbs, Corms & Tubers:

Spread 100g per square metre before planting.  Working into soil just below planting depth.  Water in well.

Trees & Shrubs:

Before planting mix 50g with the soil at the bottom of the planting hole.  Spread another 50g on top of the soil and under mulch

Established spread 100g per square metre.  Apply to the area covered by the foliage canopy keeping 15cm away from the trunk.

Australian Native Plants: Apply only half the above rates, or use a fertiliser with a low or no soluble phosphorus.

Vines:

Spread 100g per square metre before planting and work well into the soil.  Water in well.

Strawberries:

Spread 200g per square metre and mix into soil during bed formation.  Side dress rows once every 4-6 weeks (75g per metre of row) after flowering commences.

New Laws:

Spread 100g per square metre and mix into soil 1-2 weeks before sowing seed, laying turf or planting springs.

Fruit Trees:

Before planting mix 100g with the soil at the bottom of the planting hole.  Also consider incorporating lime or gypsum before planting.  Checking the pH of the soil is recommended.  Spread another 50g around the drip line and cover with mulch to help strong root development into the surrounding soil.

Established spread 0.5kg to 4kg per tree (depending on the age of the tree) in Spring.  For bearing Citrus apply in July, November and March.  Apply to the area covered by the foliage canopy keeping 5cm away from the trunk.  Water in well.  Re-apply mulch.
